Bloggers' Day Out!!!!

IT HAPPENED!!!! IT HAPPENED!!! The much awaited "Bangalore Bloggers meet" happened this Sunday at CCD (Cafe Coffee Day) at 7th Block, Jayanagar!!! [Am i not sounding like some "SALE!!! SALE!!! SALE!!!" pamphlet?!!]

After much deliberations and lotsa efforts from Sreeni, we decided to meet at CCD at 3PM on 24th July. Even the rain God bestowed his blessings pouring continuously all through the meet ( which i didnt like really, was completely wet when i reached CCD : : )

It was raining heavily when i left my place at 2.45, but i didnt wanna miss the oppurtunity to be a part of the first ever bloggers meet at Bangalore!! So, i reached CCD completely wet and i stood outside waiting to get my jeans dry. But, i didnt even see a dim chance of it getting dry so soon. There came out the Prabhudeva in me, i was shaking my legs which would have made even MJ go dizzy!!! BTW, it didnt help anyway to dry off my pants, but made me realise one thing, "i aint tat bad a
dancer u know"!!!

Well, i finally managed to get inside without caring much for the CCD ppl & their cleanliness... Lotsa ppl were in there already, but i was lucky to know Sreeni, as he was my schoolmate, else it would have been embarassing to bump onto wrong ppl :-D

The "TRIMURTHI" were already there, sipping cappuchino big time (as big as i hate that smell...phewwww!!!). But seriously, it was so easy for me to feel at home with these guys at first smile itself, i cud relate to them really fast... I made my way
to the chair, still in my wet jeans [luckily the rear wasnt wet ;)], and the meet had officially begun!!! BTW, I didn’t tell their names yet SREENI (the Rock Star) , KESHAV (the Ghazal sahib) n NAREN (the Mobile freako :p) !!!

For the next 3 hours, we were talking about F1, soccer, Heavy Metal (*sigh*), Death Metal (eeekkksss... sreeni will kill me now!!!), politics etc etc etc... Only bad thing was none of them liked my template of the blog :( :( booo hooo... ( Now listen dumbos, i aint going to change it, till i get a better one :-p). Naren was waiting for someone’s call it seems (read someone special’s call!!!), just like a first time father waiting to hear about the wife n the baby in the hospital, looking at his mobile every other min!!!!

But yeah, honestly, it was so very refreshing to share the ideas (verbally!!), which ofcourse will inspire my posts for the blog in future (yippieee!!!)... I felt real good, coz, i had a chance to talk about the stuff which i never bothered to know, even with my first circle of friends... rock, heavy metal, slash, his guitar, F1, fuel, no. of laps, mobile, technology... woohoo i bet u cant relate one to another, such was the variety stuffs we spoke about.

3 hours just flew like a bumble bee, that too with coffee n strawberry frappe ( I hope im sounding right KKK), and ofcourse some good music at the background, we never knew it was 6.30 already. The Rain God had calmed down a bit by then, and we called it a day now. One thing is 4 sure, all the four of us were heart-filled, and u can make it out in the cappuchino as well ;)

Someone

How does it happen this way that someone becomes so important in your life all of a sudden that everything looks dark without "that person".... life seems to lose its meaning and ur existence seems worthless..... and even when u've not known this person for really long.... agreed time is no neasure to how well u know a person... but even people u've known for years seem to lose color in front of that 'one' person......

Have seen that u just seem to strike well with someone.... someone who seems to understand both ur said and unsaid things... every little incident, feeling and thought is sharable.... the time together is heavenly....

But if circumstances lead to ur separation.... y is it so difficult to pick up the pieces and move on... times u feel really strong and assure urself that u can move on... times when u feel real low and yearn for the person... and carrying on becomes next to impossible without that "special" someone....

Becomes all the more difficult when u find that the other person is not getting that desperate.... a part of ur ego may keep u strong and make u pledge that u can also stand alone... but only for a short while it is.... takes no time before u again looking forward to being with the person again...

Would u call this dependance????.... ur existence and identity in question without the other person... when it is just to the contrary when u r with the person... no problem seems big.... the world seems conquerable !!!!

AYODHYA!!!

Heart of India's biggest religious controversy..."AYODHYA" is back in action, for all the bad reasons which made it popular in the recent world history. The militants blew up the security barricade and made an abortive attempt to storm the country's highest secured area (as far as i know) today. All the 6 terrorists were killed n one is believed to be a HUMAN BOMB.

Lots of things are hovering around my mind. Lemme try to put them in points.

1. I really fail to understand what makes these 'so called terrorists' to plunge into such activities. They will be 100% sure that by the end of the day, they would be torn apart by the security men, but still they make these abortive attempts. Does religious sentiments over-shadow personal commitments, happiness, peace n love of beloveds???

2. BJP and the Sangh pariwar are back in action, trying to rise their voice abt HINDUTVA n theirby regaining the lost support/supporters. On one hand i do feel its necessary for someone to protest against these kind of terrorist attacks, so that the government wont be complacent about security n intelligence gathering.

3. But on the other hand, these political leaders try to play their games in the name of National Welfare, thereby trying to impress their vote-banks. I hope BJP/RSS/VHP dont play around with the religious sentiments of people of India and act more mature than what they have done before in similar kind of situations.

4. The incident triggered off protests in Gujrat, Bihar, Jharkand n Madhya Pradesh, but the interesting point to note is there was not even a one untoward incident in AYODHYA. This itself proves that people of Ayodhya are more level-headed than our so called political leaders.

5. Lastly, i do like to know, why people from one community indulge more in terrorism in name of religion. I do believe terrorists exist in all communities but more from THIS one. WHY???

Solitude

Dunno what prompted me to post this poem.....but its really awesome... we had it in our school days... just feels gr8 to go through this again :)

Laugh,and the world laughs with you;
Weep, and you weep alone;
For the sad old earth must borrow its mirth,
But has trouble enough of its own.

Sing, and the hills will answer;
Sigh, it is lost on the air;
The echoes bound to a joyful sound,
But shrink from voicing care.

Rejoice, and men will seek you;
Grieve, and they turn and go;
They want full measure of all your pleasure,
But they do not need your woe.

Be glad, and your friends are many;
Be sad, and you lose them all,
There are none to decline your nectared wine,
But alone you must drink life's gall.

Feast, and your halls are crowded;
Fast, and the world goes by.
Succeed and give, and it helps you live,
But no man can help you die.

There is room in the halls of pleasure
For a large and lordly train,
But one by one we must all file on
Through the narrow aisles of pain.
